Remember your dreams to find your roots + live your mission

with Manari Ushigua

We have lost our relationship with our land and life itself, but it’s not too late to turn the story around. If we begin to remember our dreams and live consciously, as one member in this network of life, the story of humanity can continue. We are currently at a crossroads, facing both climate change and a pandemic.

It’s time to write the new story.

MEET MANARI

I am a political and spiritual leader of the Sápara Nation in the Ecuadorian Amazon. I am a protector of the forest and also a healer. I co-founded the Naku Center, creating a new economic model in the Amazon that is based around cultural and forest preservation. The work I do at Naku and through my lectures and healing ceremonies are designed to support friends from the modern world to connect to their spirit and respect all life, visible and invisible, so the story of humanity can continue.

writing our own story

We are constantly working to protect the forest and share our ancestral knowledge of how to live in harmony with nature and the outside world. We recently launched two initiatives to do so, click on the links to read the declarations and learn more.
